Design Engineer

To provide integration of technology, sound, imagery and environment to customers. BS in Mechanical Engineering. 5 years videoconferencing experience required. Knowledge of ISDN, BRI, PRI, T1, E1, Satellite, SIP, ATM, DS-3, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN is a must. Experience performing the configuration and troubleshooting of digital communications equipment required. Chicago Field Engineer

Field Engineers are responsible for the integration and configuration of Audio-Visual projects for Sensory Technologies clients. Key duties include assembly of rack enclosures and cabling, on-site cable handling and terminations, component installation, component set-up, and configuration of systems. This individual will work closely with the system designer and project manager to efficiently and successfully finish projects in Chicago market and the surrounding areas. Individual must be capable of:

  • Distinguishing cable types and understanding their core functions.
  • Comprehending, implementing, and editing system flow drawings (Primarily AutoCAD format).
  • Understanding, configuration, and adjustment of Audio DSP components (BIAMP Audia certification is helpful).
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Videoconferencing Systems (Primarily Tandberg, Polycom, and Lifesize systems).
  • Installation, set-up, ability to load, and troubleshoot Crestron and AMX code.
  • Communicate system capabilities, limitations, usage during customer training.

Business Development Manager

Responsible for new business development for Sensory Technologies. Key duties include proactively cold calling and prospecting on a daily basis, responding to customer sales needs, properly qualifying prospects, applying solutions and consultative selling methodology to the sales process, promptly completing sales proposals and sales activities, closing sales opportunities quickly, efficiently, and profitably. Works closely with Sensory Technologies’ engineering team to define project scope and implementing steps to set projects in motion successfully. Manages ongoing customer relationships.

Develops and maintains a broad background in Sensory Technologies’ core technology offerings, to ensure the ability to provide customer solutions and close sales opportunities.  Core offerings include:

-   Desktop Solutions and Integration with the Desktop (Microsoft)

-  Web Collaboration Solutions
