ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Ready to experience the workplace of the future? Visitors to Sensory Technologies’ new Rochester Showroom are testing out the innovative technology that is transforming work environments by making them more interactive and collaborative.
When visiting the Sensory Technologies Rochester Showroom, located at 10 Vantage Point Drive, people can explore several major interactive areas, including the following:
CoReTEx: This space – designed to empower Cognition, Reasoning, Truth and Excellence – demonstrates how to actively support a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) environment through videoconferencing, large flat panel displays, microphones, and HD cameras. With the setup, employees and guests can use their devices to seamlessly connect with the room’s hardware – allowing them to quickly engage with others.
HIVE: The Human Interactive Virtual Environment (HIVE) features an oversized interactive video wall that can be used for immersive experiences, including virtual tours, virtual meetings, augmented reality, virtual reality and virtual collaboration with co-workers and clients in different locations.
Huddle Room: By equipping team members with the advanced technology that facilitates active collaboration, organizations can use the Huddle Room to encourage spontaneous, small-group collaboration. The space includes video conference solutions, interactive boards and monitors.
Through hands-on experiences, visitors to Sensory Technologies new space also are learning:
- Techniques that help them envision and plan solutions for their own work environments.
- Guidelines and best practices for designing collaborative spaces.
- Design options created through the use of interactive displays, device accessibility, lighting, acoustics, privacy and security features, furniture integration, sightlines, room scheduling and facility infrastructure requirements, such as electrical, conduit and HVAC.
“We are excited to have found a space that allows our clients to experience, first-hand, the technology that’s transforming the way we communicate in the workplace,” said Bill Riley, Regional Director for Sensory Technologies. “Demos can be critical to our clients’ understanding of how technology can help them achieve their objectives – including increasing productivity, promoting collaboration and enhancing communications.”
As part of its services offerings, Sensory Technologies provides video conferencing system design, web streaming and distribution, sound and acoustic design, video and audio integration, and management of on-site and remote support services.
